About Jason Ray, DDS
Jason Ray, DDS, is a general and family dentist providing complete oral health care to people of all ages living in and around Santa Monica, California, and throughout Los Angeles County.
Dr. Ray earned his dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics in Iowa City. After graduation, he moved to Colorado and opened two private practices. There, he received training in CEREC® milling technology and earned the title of Premier Preferred Invisalign® Provider. In 2017, Dr. Ray and his family relocated to California.
As a general and family dentist, Dr. Ray provides comprehensive oral health care, including dental cleanings, restorative dentistry, and orthodontics with Invisalign®. People can also access CEREC® same-day crowns, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry, such as teeth whitening.
Dr. Ray and the team take a patient-centric approach to dentistry. Together, focus on helping people of all ages achieve healthy teeth and gums for life.
To facilitate those goals, Dr. Ray never stops learning. In fact, he enrolls in more than 40 hours of continuing education each year, ensuring he stays up-to-date with the latest dental practices. What’s more, Dr. Ray proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the California Dental Society, and the West LA Dental Society.
When he isn’t at work or enhancing his professional skills, Dr. Ray enjoys spending time with his wife, Cammy, and their two children. He’s also an athlete and enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time at the beach.

Dr Jason Ray is an amazing dentist. I had several old fillings that needed to be drilled out and replaced with new fillings. Also had cracks in a few back teeth which needed caps. All I can tell you is that there was absolutely no pain during or after these procedures. No pain with Novocain injections at all, the drilling took awhile, as expected, so I thought I would be sore next day, but to my surprise, felt nothing. I will be returning to Dr. Ray in the future. Very grateful I was referred to Dr. Ray, and that he does impeccable work.

I have now been a patient of Dr. Ray for almost four years. During that time I have had two bridges and a nightguard made in addition to the replacement of several 20-plus year old fillings replaced and the filling of several new cavities. Some of the new and replacement fillings were under bridges or in very difficult places to reach, i.e., backside of molars. All of his work has been excellent. Dr. Ray has what they call in baseball and football "soft hands". He makes the difficult plays look easy and as a dental patient his work in my mouth is done the same way.

I had absolutely no pain during procedure. Some soreness after Novocain wore off, but next day had no discomfort whatsoever. I love Dr. Ray’s office and how everyone in his team genuinely cares for their patients. I also love my hygienist and thanks to how she educated me on how to take care of my teeth everything improved between visits. I appreciate that Dr. Rayexplains everything and shows me in the x-rays, that he is thorough and that all the dental stuff we have done lasts over time (it looks better in the x rays too compared to previous dental work that would chip.) I also appreciate that he is very patient with my low pain tolerance and makes sure I feel comfortable.
